Jonas started writing about substances in 2014 after losing a friend to a counterfeit pill at a festival in southern Sweden. He has volunteered alongside drug-checking and peer-support teams modelled on The Loop (UK) and DanceSafe (US) across festivals in Sweden, the Netherlands and Germany, and helped run a community reagent-testing program in Gothenburg from 2018 until 2023. His substance pages are sourced against PsychonautWiki, TripSit, Erowid, peer-reviewed pharmacology, and his own field notes — never against abstinence-only talking points or AI-generated summaries. He writes the dosing pages, the interaction guides, and the substance profiles, and refuses to publish anything he wouldn't be comfortable handing to a friend at 4 AM.
